There are tons of people who experience something that changes their lives for the worse. As a result, they wind up having to deal with the results of the change. Among the results they have to deal with is a low sense of self worth. Among the common experiences for people is being on the outside looking in. For one thing, when people are constantly left out, they tend to experience the hurt that comes with it. Often times, they are left out of the group they want to be apart of no matter how hard they have tried to fit in.
Fabletics offers another alternative to playing the game of conformity. It offers plenty of new styles that people could experiment with in order to put together their own image. Therefore, people that have been marginalized in some way can actually learn to explore who they are. Many people come to enjoy the results of their self exploration. However, one major advantage they get from their new style is that they gain more attention from people that would have rejected them back then. It is amazing what something as simple as style could do for the individual.
The most important effects of upgrading one’s own style with Fabletics is that she experiences a greater sense of self worth. This is one of the reasons that Demi Lovato has decided to join in with the company and the movement it is promoting. Demi herself has struggled with low self worth. Ever sense she has overcome that, she has decided that she wants to be there for girls and help them learn what they need to overcome their struggles. Demi Lovato is willing to offer some tips to quick boosts of confidence. At the same time, she understands that the journey is a long one and getting to the destination is more than worth it for those that are willing to take the journey.
Fabletics is working very hard to bring forth the positive changes in women. This is one of the reasons that it has made sure that the brand is all inclusive. Women of all sizes have a right to look stylish and elegant. This could give them the motivation to work on their body and increase their sense of health both physically and mentally. Fabletics encourages people to work on their image and bring forth something that they like.
Business environments are always changing, but most of this change occurs incrementally, so businesses can adjust even if they are unaware they are changing, or who are not in control of any of the change occurring beyond mimicking trends. However, when the change is swift and transcendent, many businesses that have been otherwise successful can fail due to what can basically be called business atrophy. In these times, only innovative companies will roll with the changes and become the new giants of industry. Even more, it will require innovation of the most forward business acumen to start new businesses in this environment and succeed. This is occurring currently because of the digital revolution and its effects on consumer attitudes toward shopping.
Online shopping has affected shopper’s attitudes in many ways, but the fashion industry has identified a particularly negative trend called showrooming. Showrooming reflects a change in shoppers attitudes because online shopping has caused customers to seek a positive customer experience with a product because they are unable to physically test and try on products obviously because they are shopping online. These shoppers go into stores for this customer experience but with no intention of buying the product in store most often because they can receive a cheaper price for the product online beyond the other multiple benefits of shopping online. However, the stores are feeling the pinch of servicing these often high-end customers in store to only lose the business to an online store with exponentially less overhead.
So effectively, these stores function as showrooms for products without the benefit of the necessary revenue that was provided by traditional customers who once purchased in store because the store was the only quick source for procuring the products. Because Amazon is the largest American based online store, their efforts to resist showrooming has become known as the war on Amazon by adversely affected businesses. This ire is misplaced in many ways because it nullifies the lack of innovation, flexibility and adaptability in the business structure and personnel of these businesses. Conversely, businesses with the acumen to approach this trend positively will reap the benefits in spades. Additionally, these companies are often start ups with business leadership that are products of the online generation.
One innovative start up company has experienced 5,000 percent growth in this arena and in only three years since its founding. Fabletics was founded and is headed by none other than actress and mom Kate Hudson. Fabletics is a combination of an athletic brand and a brand suitable for active women of all ages but especially moms like Kate. They have a subscription based business model that welcomes showroomers in a business technique called reverse showrooming. Because most customers are converted through subscriptions, the prices are the same in their brick and mortars as on their online stores. Additionally for subscription holders, the prices are the low-end price commonly found online, so it does not matter if shoppers purchase their products in their physical stores or online.
In a makeup tutorial that was posted to Youtube, celebrity fashion vlogger Wengie, explains how to achieve a cute makeup look and a sexy makeup look. There are quite a bit of difference between the two looks so she breaks it down step by step.
For the cute look, she uses a powder foundation so that she can keep the look soft rather than defined. She also uses neutral brownish and pink tones on the eyelid. For definition, she traces the eyelash line with a liner pen and then extends the line just slightly. She applied her base eye shadow color to the underneath of the lower lash line and blended. Then she curled her lashes slightly and added very thin false eyelashes that are longer in the middle. For the lips, she blended her lip line with foundation and then dabbed a pink lip tint in the middle and spread with her fingertips. She dabbed a bit of gloss in the center for dimension. On her cheeks, she spreads a lilac color creme blush high on the cheekbones for a youthful look.
For her sexy look, she uses a high coverage foundation for even coverage. Then she contours her face paying special attention to the angles of her face. She uses a smoky eye pen to make the lids dramatic. Wengie adds more definition with liquid eyeliner but blends with the smoky eye pen. She adds dramatic false lashes that are longer at the eye’s edge. Then she applies a neutral base color above the smoky color and blends. She also places a sparkly light color to the inside corners of the eye to open them up more. She applied concealer to her lower eye area and her nose, forehead, and bridge of her nose. She used a peachy bronze color on her cheekbones to match her contouring. For her lips, she uses a matte in a deep neutral pink color to add definition without being too bold.
